IT Helpdesk Analyst for Dublin BPO company

Permanent job for IT Helpdesk Analyst based in Sandyford, Dublin, with Irish-owned BPO company. The successful applicant will join an existing in-house IT team supporting multilingual call agents working for blue-chip clients in Finance, Technology and Industry. As an IT Helpdesk Analyst you should be experienced in Windows, VOIP and MySQL. Training on specific systems will be provided.

We are looking for a IT Helpdesk Analyst:

  • who can help with the future growth and expansion of our IT environment
  • will maintain and provide support for our call agent’s software, hardware and telephony needs
  • is able to respond to help desk requests in order to diagnose and resolve problems quickly
  • interested in the opportunity to progress into Systems Administration with responsibility for system backups, antivirus and Office365 administration
  • ideal candidate for this position is experienced with Asterisk telephony and be able to manage MySQL database user queries

Key Responsibilities

  • Helpdesk support, including Windows 7/10, MySQL databases, VOIP telephony
  • Provide technical support for both hardware and software issues that may arise
  • Monitor the ticketing system and respond quickly to any user requests

Minimum Requirements

Essential Skills and abilities

  • 2+ years’ experience as a system administrator or help desk analyst
  • As a IT Helpdesk Analyst you should be experienced in Windows, VOIP and MySQL
  • Office365 Administration
  • Ability to apply a logical problem-solving approach to resolving customer problems and enquiries
  • Ability to deliver information at customer’s knowledge level in an understandable manner
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to think independently and follow through effectively
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Have excellent command of spoken and written English
